The aid ship to Gaza that went by the name 'Global Sumud Flotilla' failed to deliver their cargo because it was intercepted in international waters by the Israeli navy forces. Hundreds of activists on board of this ship that had been helping with the delivery of the cargo were detained by the Israeli forces and subsequently deported. This triggered an international protest when it was learned from the videos that the Israeli minister was beating up the detained activists.
